Ways to Give

Camp Fire has a huge mission – to build caring, confident youth and future leaders.  With your
help, we can do it!  The youth and families served by Camp Fire USA rely heavily on donor
contributions to make quality, after school programs possible for people who can’t afford them. In
addition to funding more than $25,000 of financial assistance, donors also help subsidize crucial
Camp Fire USA programs in underserved neighborhoods, including teen programs, service
learning, and Community Family Club.

Here are a few ways that you can make a difference:

  1. Make a Donation -- Your gift, big or small, goes a long way in helping Camp Fire provide
    for the needs of the youth we serve.  For as little as $45, you can sponsor one child for one
    week.  $160 will sponsor one child for a whole month.  Your tax-deductible gift of $45, $90
    or $160 or more will make a difference in the life a child and his or her family.
  2. Become a “Camp Fire Angel” – When you give a gift of $35 or more on a monthly basis,
    you not only become an angel to Camp Fire, but you also help us to continue the great work
    we are doing.
  3. Sponsor of the Month – Sponsors provide a major source of support for our mission.  Your
    donation of $5,000 helps us to provide quality, thematic programs each month.  Safety &
    Health, Food & Nutrition, My Family, Careers & Money, and American Pride are just a few of
    the themes that youth will be exposed to during a month of thematic learning.  This is also a
    great way to provide an opportunity for employees to volunteer as a group for your

  4. Volunteer -- Volunteers are the backbone of Camp Fire.  When you donate 1-2 hours per
    week to our programs, you’ll be making a big difference to youth of all ages.  No experience
    is required, just a strong desire to help build the character and confidence of Amarillo’s
    youth.
  5. Wish List -- When you donate new or gently used items from our wish list, you help offset
    operating expenses which allows us to spread our dollars even further to reach kids of all
    ages.  
  6. Spread the word -- Camp Fire needs your help in spreading the word about the wonderful
    work we are doing to enrich the lives of ALL the youth we serve.
